ABOUT THE CONGRESS
|
The VIII Latin American and Caribbean Phycological Congress and the VI Ibero-American Phychological Meeting, to be held in Lima - Peru, will be the ideal setting to discuss new and significant discoveries on Phycological research. The scientific conferences, symposia, workshops and poster sessions will make a comprehensive and interesting program which will benefit to all of us. To do so, please fill out the

The registration fee covers materials for the congress, abstract book, and CD presentations. Meals, accommodation, Gala Dinner and tour packages are not included in the registration fee.

The registration will be on-line,and an e-mail will
be sent immediately for confirmation. Residents in Lima may register directly at the Office 214, Biological Sciences Faculty, Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Av. Venezuela cdra. 34 s/n, Cercado de Lima).

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORMAT
|
The abstracts can be submitted in Spanish, Portuguese or English. They must include full title, no abbreviations, author(s) name (surname and initials, e.g. Santome, S.), institutional full name, postal and e-mail addresses. The abstracts should state clearly the goals, methods and results of the research work in no more than 200 words. Scientific names (genera and species) will always be in italics and in full the first time named.
The author should choose the theme in which the abstract will be included.
The abstract will be sent by e-mail as a Microsoft Word RTF file to sfalyc@gmail.com as an attachment with the subject "First Name" and "Country" (sanchezperu.rtf; Sanchez Peru).
July 15 is the deadline for abstracts submission.

Lunch and dinner is available in form of menu or individual dishes. The menus have a pre-registration cost of $ 6.00 for professionals. The University cafeteria offers students lunches for US$ 2.00 each.

TOURS & TOURISMS
|
The Organizing Committee has coordinated with the travel agency Vivencial Tours,
tour packages for Wednesday 27. These include city tours and phycological trips that will make your stay in our country more memorable and enjoyable. Book in your package of interest on the registration form.

SPECIAL MEETINGS
|
The SFALYC will consider requests to arrange an auditorium for 50 to 100 people to make academic and enterprise meetings of specific themes. These requests will be granted on first-ask-first-serve basis.
